Natural Soap, Scrubs and Bath Soaks
Handcrafted soap bars, body scrub and bath soaks made in Australia, scented with essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance. The eucalyptus in them is grown and steam distilled on our own farm in South Australia.
Our Soaps, Scrubs and Soaks
Cleansing bars, body scrubs and mineral bath soaks for the longer version of a routine.
Made in Australia, From Our Oil
Plenty of soap is sold as natural on the strength of the packaging. Ours is easier to check than that.
Wattle Grove is a family owned farm at Buckleboo in South Australia. We grow polybractea eucalyptus on our own land, harvest the leaf on farm and steam distil the oil on site. That oil goes into the soap bars, and the bars themselves are handcrafted in Australia in small batches.
Everything here is vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free, and the soaps are packaged in recyclable material rather than plastic.
How to Use a Body Scrub
Body scrub is one of those products people either use daily or never open. Neither is right. Exfoliating once or twice a week is enough for most skin. More than that and you strip the barrier faster than it rebuilds, which leaves skin drier than it was before you started.
-

Before a shave or fake tan Scrubbing first lifts dead skin so the razor or the tan has an even surface to work on. This is the single most useful time to use one.
-

In winter, not just in summer Skin goes dull and flaky when the air dries out and the showers get hotter. Winter is when a scrub earns its place.
-

Follow it with something rich Exfoliating opens the door, moisturising walks through it. A body oil or lotion straight after is what makes the difference.
-

Not on broken or irritated skin Wait until it has settled. A scrub on already sore skin makes it worse.
Soap Bars and Bath Soaks
A bar of soap is a bottle of body wash with the water and the plastic taken out. That is most of the argument for it, and it holds up.
Ours are handcrafted rather than machine pressed, which is why they have oatmeal in them for texture rather than a synthetic exfoliant. Kept on a holder so they drain between uses, a bar will outlast the bottle it replaced.
The bath soaks are a different job entirely. They are for the twenty minutes at the end of a day when you actually stop, and they are best run under a warm tap rather than a hot one so the scent lifts with the steam.
Essential Oils, Not Synthetic Fragrance
Our soaps, scrubs and soaks are scented with essential oils, including eucalyptus grown and distilled on our own farm.
Everything is free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, phthalates and PEGs, and every product is vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free.
What we leave out
Parabens and sulfates
Mineral oil and phthalates
PEGs
Synthetic fragrance

Yes. Everything we make is palm oil free, along with vegan and cruelty free, and none of it is tested on animals.

Once or twice a week suits most skin. Exfoliating more often than that tends to leave skin drier rather than smoother.

Eucalyptus oil from our own farm with patchouli and bergamot, oatmeal as a natural exfoliant, and shea butter. They are free from parabens and PEGs.
-
Keep it somewhere it can drain rather than sitting in water. That is what the stone holder is for, and it makes a noticeable difference to how long a bar lasts.
-
Run it under a warm tap as the bath fills so it dissolves properly, then soak for around twenty minutes.
