Every Wattle Grove product starts on our own farm. We grow polybractea eucalyptus at Buckleboo in South Australia, harvest it on site and steam distil it in single batches, which is what gives our oil a cineole content of 90 to 92 percent. Nothing is blended, rectified or bought in.
That oil goes into everything we make, from 100 percent pure eucalyptus oil to candles, reed diffusers, room sprays and body care. Australian made, from plant to bottle.
That same oil runs through the whole range. Room sprays, reed diffusers, candles, hand and body care and home cleaning products, each designed in house and paired with considered, minimalist form. The result is a range of Australian eucalyptus products that work as well as they look.

NATURALLY GROWN
Our polybractea eucalyptus trees are grown and harvested on our own farm in South Australia. Because we manage the crop ourselves, we know exactly what goes into every bottle and exactly where it came from. No third party suppliers sit between the tree and the oil.

SUSTAINABLY HARVESTED
We harvest on rotation so the trees regenerate rather than being cleared. Leftover plant material is repurposed as agricultural mulch and sold on to landscapers, councils and schools, and the water used in distilling is recycled through tanks. Very little leaves the farm as waste.

STEAM DISTILLED
Steam distillation under controlled temperature separates the oil from the leaf without harsh solvents or high heat. It uses minimal energy and water, and it protects the aromatic compounds that give the oil its strength and its scent.

ECO-FRIENDLY
Recyclable amber glass and PET bottles, compostable FSC paper wrap and compostable padded mailers. Every product is vegan, cruelty free, palm oil free and free from synthetic fragrance. The packaging is designed to be kept or recycled, not thrown out.

SINGLE ORIGIN
Much of the eucalyptus oil sold in Australia is distilled from imported material, even when the label carries an Australian brand. Ours is not. Every bottle traces back to one farm at Buckleboo. Where our oil comes from is not a marketing line, it is an address.
100% Pure Polybractea Eucalyptus Oil
Polybractea, also known as blue mallee, is one of the highest grade eucalyptus species grown in Australia. We steam distil ours in single batches, which produces a cineole content of between 90 and 92 percent.
Cineole is the compound responsible for that clean, sharp eucalyptus aroma, and a higher concentration means a purer, more potent oil. Ours is bottled exactly as it comes off the still, with no additives, no blending and no rectification.

Our candles are individually hand poured and crafted, meaning there can be slight variations between each candle such as frosting or small air bubbles, neither of which affects the quality. Their imperfections are what makes them perfect.

It is considered one of the highest grade eucalyptus oils available. Wattle Grove grows polybractea exclusively, which is why our oil tests between 90 and 92 percent cineole.

Yes. Our eucalyptus oil is 100 percent pure polybractea leaf oil with nothing added. It is single distilled and bottled as it comes off the still, with no blending, no rectification and no carrier oils. Because we grow and distil it ourselves, there is no point in the process where anything else could be introduced.

Cineole is the main active compound in eucalyptus oil and the one responsible for its distinctive sharp, clean aroma. The higher the cineole percentage, the more concentrated and potent the oil. Pharmaceutical grade eucalyptus oil generally sits above 80 percent, and ours tests between 90 and 92 percent.
